Positions Available:

Student Board Member:

The student board member acts as a voice for students on the OSRT board of directors

​

Student Liaisons:

Every radiologic technology program in oregon is eligible to have a student Liaison whose focus is to update their respective student bodies on OSRT board meetings, events, and legislative updates

​

Student to Leadership Development Program:

At least two participants will be selected from Oregon to this National leadership program in partnership with the ASRT

​

​

Non-application opportunities include joining the student Action Committee and becoming a Student Representative at our Annual Meeting

Eligibility

Must be a student in a radiologic science program in Oregon (Linn Benton Community College, OHSU Radiation Therapy, Oregon Institute of Technology, or Portland Community College) in good academic standing.

All required application items (listed below) must be submitted by October 31st, 2025 11:59pm

How to Apply:

Fully read the following instructions before submitting all the necessary components in the form below. Applicants will be notified via the provided email by December 31st, 2025.​

​

  1. Applications open September 1st and close October 31st. All application items must be completed by then to be eligible for consideration

  2. Create a video essay (no longer than 4 minutes) answering the following questions:

    1. Introduction: Introduce yourself with your name, school, graduation       date, and why you chose the profession. 

    2. Describe a time you demonstrated leadership or initiative in your academic or clinical experiences. What was the outcome, and what did you learn from it?

    3. How do you plan to use the opportunities and connections from the ASRT Student to Leadership Development Program to benefit your school, your future workplace, or the radiologic sciences community? 

    4. How do you plan to stay involved with the OSRT?

  3. Submit your video essay below

  4. Request a letter of recommendation on your behalf from your program director (to be emailed directly to the OSRT)

  5. If you are applying for the ASRT SLDP:

    1.  apply on their website here

    2. Submit the SLDP application forms on the right with your video essay submission
